Ms Avis Ng is a highly dynamic and compassionate trainer with more than 10 years of experience and dedication in helping individuals and organizations enhance intra personal inter personal well-being, productivity and overall quality of life. At the age of 23, she co-founded a non-profit organization called AGAPE Vision. This organization empowers underprivileged youths to be leaders in their community, and through this programme, young people are given the opportunity to meet their needs for love and belonging, and to achieve their fullest potential. In addition to her non-profit youth outreach work, she has over 5 years of working experience providing psychosocial support, training, and workshops to personnel of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Her training covers topics such as: how to manage stress and prevent burnout, mindfulness for stress reduction, resilience building, and improving well-being with your brain and body. Ms Avis Ng received her education in Malaysia and USA. She has conducted workshops and programmes for the full range of ages, from children to older adults. These experiences have also further fuelled her passion and skill in being an excellent and effective trainer in a wide variety of topics, especially mental health.
With years of working and volunteer experience under her belt, Ms. Avis possesses a deep understanding of the psychological, physiological, neurological, and relational aspects of mental health. In addition to training, Ms Avis Ng is a Licensed and Registered counsellor with an active counselling practice at Rekindle Therapy, and she also serves as the Dean of Counselling (English department) at the Bible College of Malaysia.
