Cilent Support Executive (Mental Health Client Care Coordinator)

Location: Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur

Be the first point of care for individuals, couples, and families seeking therapy.

At Rekindle Therapy, our Client Support Executive (CSE) helps people take an important first step towards support. You will work closely with a team of therapists, counsellors, clinical psychologists, and client-support professionals in a specialist centre grounded in systemic and relationship-focused therapy.

This is more than an administrative role, it is a meaningful starting point for psychology graduates who want to understand how ethical, client-centred mental-health services work in practice while building strong professional foundations in communication, confidentiality, coordination, systems thinking, and teamwork.

Fresh Psychology graduates are warmly encouraged to apply.

What you will do

  • Respond to enquiries from new and existing clients with warmth, professionalism, and confidentiality—by phone, email, messaging, and in person.
  • Help clients understand how to access Rekindle’s services and coordinate appointments accurately with therapists.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client appointment records and databases.
  • Coordinate therapist schedules and support the smooth day-to-day delivery of client services.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, clinicians, and colleagues, including when handling sensitive or time-sensitive enquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client-care and administrative processes.
  • Assist with reports, projects, and other team priorities as needed.
  • Contribute to a welcoming, organised, and professional environment for clients and colleagues.

What you will learn and develop

This is a non-clinical role: you will not provide therapy or make independent clinical assessments. However, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and guidance, and gain valuable exposure to the care environment around therapy and mental-health services.

You will have opportunities to develop:

  • A practical understanding of how individuals, couples, and families access therapy services.
  • Professional communication, boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical client care.
  • Exposure to systemic thinking and relationship/family therapy processes.
  • Experience working alongside a diverse team of mental-health professionals.
  • Confidence using administrative systems, digital tools, and client-service workflows.
  • Self-reflection and professional growth through feedback from experienced colleagues.
  • A strong foundation for future pathways in mental health, client care, operations, training, or team leadership.

Who we are looking for

You may be a great fit if you are:

  • A fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, or an applicant with a related degree and relevant work experience.
  • Warm, mature, and genuinely interested in supporting people who are seeking help.
  • A careful listener with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and dependable when handling confidential information.
  • Able to remain calm, professional, and thoughtful when managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other digital tools.
  • Able to work collaboratively while taking initiative when needed.
  • Proficient in English; Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or Cantonese are an advantage.

Why Rekindle?

Rekindle offers a supportive, learning-oriented environment where client-support staff are an integral part of the wider clinical team. You will develop skills that are valuable well beyond this role, while contributing directly to a service that helps people navigate difficult moments in their lives. Many of our former CSEs have continued onward from their valuable exposure and learning experience at Rekindle to obtain graduate degrees in counselling or clinical psychology, and are now successful practicing mental health professionals in the community.
