Dr Johnben Loy has extensive experience in the field of coaching, teaching and training, having held multiple teaching and training positions and conducted numerous talks and training events (from small groups to large events i.e. 1000 pax) for the past 30 years locally and internationally. Dr Johnben has worked with clients worldwide, from a variety of ages with the goal of helping people develop deeper self-awareness and relational mastery for personal wellbeing, family harmony, and professional effectiveness. His area of expertise is in working with senior corporate executives, business-owners, professionals (medical, legal, financial), and organisational leaders as well as their family members.
Over the years, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with companies and organisations to help teams work through conflict management issues such as: stress, employee engagement, critical incident stress management, team conflict management, executive life coaching, etc. In 2018, he became a Certified Forum Facilitator for the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and provides training and consultation to YPO members primarily in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong) and also the Middle East (Dubai). Dr Johnben is a highly educated individual with several degrees (including an MBA and PhD). He has managed small businesses, worked in medium private and large public-listed corporations, and lectured in universities at the undergraduate and graduate levels teaching family business management as well as marriage and family therapy. His extensive experience makes him a highly sought after trainer and facilitator.
In addition to his work as a trainer, he is the founder and clinical director of Rekindle Therapy, where he continues to practice in his professional capacity as a US-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, provide supervisory oversight for all the therapists, gives training to clinical interns at Rekindle Academy, and general managerial oversight for the centre.
