Many view sexuality as separate from other aspects of life, but it is deeply connected to our emotions, relationships, culture, and well-being. Our sexual health is not just about intimacy—it reflects and is shaped by our personal experiences, mental health, and physical well-being.
As a sexologist, I work with individuals and couples facing a range of sexual health concerns, including vaginismus, erectile dysfunction, low sexual desire, porn and masturbation concerns, sexual anxiety, and understanding one’s sexuality and needs. These challenges can be deeply personal and sometimes difficult to talk about, but they are more common than many realize.
While my expertise lies in sexual health and sexuality, my work extends beyond these areas. I also support clients in navigating relationship concerns, self-exploration, emotional well-being, work-related stress, and other mental health challenges. Whether it’s personal beliefs, past experiences, relationship dynamics, or medical concerns, I work with clients to understand these connections and empower them to move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
In my practice, I integrate several approaches to provide tailored support. I approach concerns through a systemic lens, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to promote psychological flexibility, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with self-compassion. For those healing from trauma, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Inner Child/Parts work to process deep-seated wounds. When working with couples, I apply Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional bonds, fostering deeper intimacy and connection. I also find that metaphorical cards (e.g. OH Cards) can be a helpful tool in exploring the subconscious in a safe and meaningful way, allowing for deeper self-connection and insight.
As a sex-positive, kink-aware, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist, I offer a safe, judgment-free space to explore your concerns. My role is to support and empower you, reminding you that healing and growth are always possible.
Beyond my clinical work, I advocate for sexual and mental health rights through volunteering with organizations such as the Reproductive Rights Advocacy Alliance Malaysia (RRAAM) and All Women’s Action Society (AWAM), and I enjoy conducting educational talks and workshops for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, university students, and the general public. In my free time, I love traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with my husband and our five cats.
